Use of the TradeVetted Service by a Contractor requires acceptance of the Terms and Conditions and sending the content of the Business Profile to the Entrepreneur at support@tradevetted.co.uk according to the criteria below, for the purpose of publishing the Business Profile in the Service.
The content of the Business Profile subject to publication in the Service consists of the following data: the business name under which the Contractor operates, the Contractor’s registered office and address, a description of the Contractor’s business activity and the Services provided, the Contractor’s area of operation, contact details, i.e. telephone number and/or e-mail address.

The content of the Business Profile must not mislead Clients.
If the Entrepreneur considers that the Business Profile submitted by the Contractor does not meet the requirements of the Terms and Conditions, the Entrepreneur shall inform the Contractor, which is equivalent to refusal to publish the Business Profile in the Service. The Contractor may amend the content of the Business Profile and resend it to the Entrepreneur at support@tradevetted.co.uk for publication in the Service.

whether the Contractor has provided true data related to the conducted business activity, including the name and surname of the business owner, address, telephone number, e-mail address, scope of activity and experience;
whether the Contractor has valid civil liability insurance and what its scope is;
whether the Contractor has conducted business activity for at least one year before publication of the Business Profile in the Service;

The Entrepreneur shall notify the Contractor of the refusal to publish the Business Profile in the Service and the reasons for such refusal by sending a message to the e-mail address from which the Contractor submitted the content of the Business Profile for publication in the Service.
The Entrepreneur may remove a Business Profile published in the Service if information is obtained about its non-compliance with the Terms and Conditions, the Contractor’s unreliable approach to conducting business activity and/or providing services, unlawfulness, or infringement of third-party rights.
The Entrepreneur shall notify the Contractor of the removal of the Business Profile from the Service and the reasons for its removal by sending a message to the e-mail address from which the Contractor submitted the content of the Business Profile for publication in the Service.
In the case of legal persons and organisational units without legal personality to which the law grants legal capacity, the content of the Business Profile may be submitted to the Entrepreneur only by a person authorised to act on behalf of the Contractor in this respect.
The Contractor may have only one Business Profile in the Service.
For the purpose of publishing the Contractor’s Business Profile in the Service and providing the Services, the use of temporary e-mail addresses and temporary telephone numbers is prohibited.
Publication of a Business Profile in the Service during promotional periods is free of charge. After the promotional period expires, publication may become time-limited and paid, but always only after the Contractor has expressed their prior will to do so. There is no automatic transition to a paid period. Detailed rules for publication and payment by the Contractor are specified in the agreement concluded between the Entrepreneur and the Contractor.
V. Payments
The Entrepreneur may offer free promotional periods. During such periods, the preparation and publication of Contractors’ Business Profiles are completely free of charge. The Entrepreneur does not charge any fees during this time.
After the end of promotional periods, the Entrepreneur may charge fees, provided that the Contractor expresses such will by concluding a fixed-term agreement under the terms specified therein.
After the end of promotional periods, there is no automatic transition to a paid period for the Contractor. The Contractor decides independently whether they wish to continue participating in the credible building of their own brand by remaining in the Service and signing an agreement with the Entrepreneur after the end of promotional periods exempting them from fees.
After conclusion of the agreement, the Entrepreneur charges a fee for publishing the Business Profile in the Service monthly, in advance, on the basis of an issued invoice with a seven-day payment deadline.
In the event of a delay in payment, the Entrepreneur has the right to demand that the Contractor pay interest for delay in commercial transactions, in accordance with the Act of 8 March 2013 on counteracting excessive delays in commercial transactions, Journal of Laws of 2023, item 1790.
Invoices shall be delivered to the Contractor at the e-mail address from which the Contractor submitted the content of the Business Profile for publication in the Service, or to another address provided by the Contractor. The Contractor agrees to the issue of invoices without the Contractor’s signature.
If the Business Profile is removed from the Service during the term of the agreement, the Entrepreneur shall not charge the Contractor for subsequent months of the agreement and shall refund the Contractor the fee for the period during which the Business Profile was not published in the Service.
VI. Rules for Preparing and Publishing Reviews
Clients who, using the Service, have contacted a Contractor or ordered the Contractor to perform a Service may submit a Review of the Contractor to the Entrepreneur at support@tradevetted.co.uk for publication in the Service.
Submitting a Review to the Entrepreneur requires acceptance of the Terms and Conditions.
The Review should contain only information relating to the performance or non-performance of the Service by the Contractor, the quality of the Contractor’s work, their professionalism, working time and personal culture.
Together with the Review, the Client should rate the performance of the Service by the Contractor on a scale from 1 to 10 in each of the following four categories: Quality of Work/Professionalism, Cleanliness, Working Time, Courtesy.
The ratings are awarded by the Client based on their own experiences in cooperation with the Contractor, which are subjective in nature. On this basis, the average total score is calculated and published together with the Contractor’s Business Profile.
The Review may not contain content that violates good manners, social or personal content, vulgar content, or content unrelated to contact with the Contractor and the performance or non-performance of the Service.
It is prohibited to submit a Review that was not preceded by contact with the Contractor for the purpose of actually ordering the Contractor to perform the Service, and which is intended solely to increase the Contractor’s credibility among Clients or to reduce the Contractor’s credibility.
By submitting a Review to the Entrepreneur for publication in the Service, the Client is aware that the Review may affect the Contractor’s good name or reputation, bring the Contractor customers or deprive the Contractor of customers, strengthen customers’ trust in the Contractor or undermine such trust.
Therefore, the Client is obliged to make every effort to ensure that the content of the Review reflects the actual state of affairs and is not harmful to the Contractor or does not infringe the Contractor’s rights in any way.
When submitting the content of the Review to the Entrepreneur, the Client should indicate whether the Review is to be published with the Client’s first name, surname or other data, for example a nickname. If no information is provided in this regard, the Entrepreneur shall mark the Review with the Client’s initials, and in their absence, with the letters XY.
The Entrepreneur may contact the Client in order to verify the Review or the reasons for awarding a specific score. As part of the verification of the Review, the Entrepreneur may ask the Client to send a VAT invoice, acceptance protocol for the completed service, or photographs of the completed work.
The Entrepreneur may refuse to publish in the Service a Review submitted by the Client, in particular if it is inconsistent with the Terms and Conditions or if it raises justified doubts on the part of the Entrepreneur as to whether the Review was written as a result of actual contact between the Client and the Contractor.
The Entrepreneur shall inform the Client of the refusal to publish the Review and the reasons for the refusal by sending a message to the e-mail address from which the Client submitted the Review.
A Contractor who disagrees with the content of a Review published in the Service may notify the Entrepreneur using the e-mail address support@tradevetted.co.uk. The Entrepreneur is obliged to examine, without undue delay and no later than within 7 business days, whether the Contractor’s notification is justified.
In the event of a justified notification, in particular where the Review violates the rules of the Terms and Conditions, the Entrepreneur shall immediately remove the Review from the Service.
The Client is solely responsible for the content of the Review.
The Client may add only one Review about a Contractor.
In justified cases, the Client may request that the Entrepreneur change the content of the Review or remove it from the Service.
Except for the cases indicated above, publication of a Review is indefinite.
VII. Rules for Determining and Publishing Scores
Together with the Review, the Client should rate the performance of the Service by the Contractor on a scale from 1 to 10 in each of the following four categories: Reliability, Cleanliness, Working Time, Courtesy.
The ratings are awarded by the Client based on their own experiences in cooperation with the Contractor, which are subjective in nature. On this basis, the average total score is calculated and published together with the Contractor’s Business Profile.
The sum of points in a given category divided by the number of Clients who awarded the Contractor points in that category gives the Contractor’s average rating in that category.
The Contractor’s average rating in a given category is published together with the Contractor’s Business Profile.
VIII. Rules for Ranking Contractors in the Search Engine
In order to search for a Contractor, the Client may use the Search Engine available in the Service.
The following should be entered in the Search Engine: …..
As a result of the search, the Client receives a list of Business Profiles. The position of the Contractor’s Business Profile in the search results depends on the operation of the algorithm, according to the following rules:
Contractors are divided into two groups: Contractors who have a Review and Contractors who do not have a Review.
The list of results consists, where possible, alternately of Contractors with a Review or Reviews and Contractors without Reviews.
The rule for displaying Contractors without Reviews is 100% random.
In the case of Contractors who already have a Review or Reviews, the final position in the search results list is influenced 60% by Reviews and 40% by randomness. For example, for a Contractor who has 20 Reviews in the Service and a Score of 6/10, the ranking result shall be determined according to the list sorting algorithm.
IX. Complaint
The Contractor may submit a Complaint in the following cases:
alleging that the Entrepreneur has breached obligations arising from the Terms and Conditions and Regulation (EU) 2019/1150 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 20 June 2019 on promoting fairness and transparency for business users of online intermediation services;

refusal to publish or removal of the Contractor’s Business Profile from the Service, in accordance with section IV paragraphs 4 and 5 of these Terms and Conditions.
A Complaint may be submitted by sending it to the e-mail address support@tradevetted.co.uk.
In the content of the Complaint or in attachments to the Complaint, the complainant should, where possible, provide data or information enabling the Entrepreneur to verify the legitimacy of the Complaint, including an explanation of the reasons for submitting the Complaint, as indicated in paragraph 1 letters a-d.
The complainant decides whether to provide their personal or contact data in the Complaint.
X. Rules of the Entrepreneur’s Liability
The Entrepreneur shall not be liable for:
lack of interest by Clients in the subject of the Business Profile;
failure of the Client to choose a Contractor or failure to conclude an agreement with the Contractor for the performance of services;
performance by the Contractor of obligations arising from applicable provisions of law, in particular those protecting consumer rights;
loss of the Contractor’s trust as a result of the content of Reviews submitted to the Entrepreneur for publication by Clients, or damage caused to the Contractor’s property as a result of publication of Reviews, including both actual loss and lost profits.
The Entrepreneur is not a party to agreements concluded between the Contractor and the Client and does not guarantee that the Contractor or Client is able to conclude or perform such agreements.
The Entrepreneur shall not be liable in any way for services provided by Contractors. The Contractor bears full responsibility for the Services provided.
The Entrepreneur recommends that the Client, at their own discretion and judgement, take steps to secure their interests in relation to the Contractor, for example by concluding an appropriate agreement, checking whether the Contractor has civil liability insurance related to the conducted activity, or preparing an acceptance protocol for the completed Services.
